Daily Schedule: Full Day Pre-School

7:00-9:00    Breakfast, clean up, free play
9:00-10:15    Fine motor skills: Number/letter recognition, beginning reading skills, computer time, learning songs/finger plays, etc.
10:15-11:30    Outside play (weather permitting) or inside gross motor activities
11:30-12:00    Lunch
12:00-12:30    Brush Teeth, clean up, potty
12:30-12:45    Group story time
12:45-2:30    Nap/rest time. Children are encouraged to nap or rest quietly
2:30-3:30    Afternoon snack, child-directed activities
3:30-5:00    Painting, crafts, outside play, holiday projects, etc.
5:00-5:30    Evening Snack
5:30-6:30    Clean up, plan for the next day, group story time, get ready to go home

Examples of topics studied could be a specific animal, color, letter, number, shape, etc. We will sing songs, do crafts and learn about our weekly subject, with our goal being to expand teach child's understanding and imagination.

9:00-10:00    Fine motor skills: Working on further developing skills necessary for success in whatever grade the child is in currently, including writing numbers and letters, tying shoes, cutting, gluing, etc.
10:00-10:45    Individual play time
10:45-11:45    Outside play (weather permitting) or inside group activities
11:45-12:15    Lunch
12:15-12:30    brush teeth, clean up
12:30-2:30    (Nap/rest time for other children) Quiet activities such as board games, puzzles, and computer programs
2:30-3:00    Afternoon snack
3:00-3:45    Outside play (weather permitting) or inside group activities
3:45-5:00    Painting, crafts, theme week activities, projects, etc.
5:00-5:30    Late snack
5:30-6:30    Clean-up, plan for the next day, group story time, get ready to go home

Show & Share is every Friday in the morning. Your child may bring something special to share with the class. Most weeks the children will be working with a certain concept in the afternoons. Examples could be a specific animal, color, letter, shape, etc. We will sing songs, do crafts, and learn about our weekly subject, trying to expand each child's understanding and imagination.
